President
Edward Blanch
Edward is a former affiliate owner and a CrossFit L3 coach. He has been judging elite level competitions since 2017 including the CrossFit Games, Semifinals, Sactionals and the Rogue Invitational. Edward is the original author of the JAG white paper that would be used as the foundation for what would become the AFJ group.
Originally from the UK, he has lived in the US since 2017. A former theater Producer, Director and Choreographer and has been involved in multi-million dollar projects in the US, Europe and Asia as well as the international charity HOPE with projects in Ghana, Romania, India and Zambia.
Vice President
Jules Seroskie
Jules has been judging at elite level CrossFit events since 2017 including the CrossFit Games, regionals, sanctionals, semifinals and Rogue. She has held leadership roles at multiple events to include Crossfit Semifinals, WZA and other Sanctional events since 2019. Currently maintains her Level 1 & 2 certifications as well as coaches regularly at her local gym.
Jules has a Bachelor degree in Business Marketing from James Madison University and a certificate of professional education in Financial Planning from Georgetown University. She has 17 years of experience in the finance market, working with various Fortune 500 companies. Currently she maintains multiple securities & insurance licenses as well as CFP ® certification.
Treasurer
Amy Stone
Amy discovered CrossFit in 2010 and has held Judge and Leadership positions at all levels of competition since 2014, including Judge Director, Head Judge, Asst Head Judge and Team Lead at the CrossFit Games, Regionals, Sanctionals, Semifinals, Granite Games, Rogue Invitational and Wodapalooza. A former Level 2, she is excited to transition from the competition floor to mentoring the next generation of Judges and leaders.
In her 25-year career in the Financial Services industry, Amy currently serves as Vice President for a leading Investment Bank, managing a Capital Commitment Committee that reviews capital raise strategies for public and private offerings.
Secretary
Lisa McKean
With 26 years in law enforcement and over a decade in the fitness industry, including as an affiliate owner since 2022 I am excited to take over the role of AFJ Secretary. I served as the Public Information Officer for the San Diego Police Department, leading the media team and engaging regularly with the public and press to foster community relations and deliver clear, compelling messages. These skills directly align with the communication needs of our organization—especially in newsletters, event coordination, and updates.
Director of Competitions
Kevin Agbulos
Kevin serves as the Director of Competitions for the Association of Fitness Judges, bringing nearly a decade of leadership and on-the-floor experience within the CrossFit competition landscape. Since 2017, Kevin has held a wide range of judging and event operations roles—including floor judge, team lead, assistant head judge, head judge, stage director, appeals manager, and judge director. His reputation for professionalism, consistency, and dedication to fairness and volunteer experience has made him a trusted leader in the sport.
A dedicated CrossFitter since 2015, Kevin is also an active Level 2 CrossFit Trainer based in Chicago, Illinois. He lives and breathes the CrossFit lifestyle—both as an athlete and coach—bringing a holistic perspective to every role he plays. His blend of technical knowledge, leadership, and operational excellence continues to elevate the standard for competitive fitness experiences worldwide.
Director of Education
Jeremy Lopez
Jeremy discovered CrossFit in 2018 and began judging at elite competitions in 2022. Since then he has judged and been involved in Scoring at CrossFit Semifinals, Wodapalooza, Rogue Invitational and many other CrossFit Licensed, most recently was Head of Scoring at the 2025 Mayhem Classic. He currently holds a CF-L2 Trainer.
Jeremy is a native to Austin, TX with over 15 years of sales and training experience in both retail and corporate realms. Having worked with major companies like HEB, T-Mobile, and Avis Budget Group, he has helped design and launch successful in person and online training programs and resources. In wanting to give back to the community that has become a second family to him, he has a passion for growing the competition community locally and globally. Now he is excited to bring his skills and passion to the AFJ’s mission of “promoting the professional development and advancement of Officials in the sport of functional fitness” in his new role.
Director of European Operations
Eleftherios Gkouropoulos
Eleftherios discovered CrossFit in 2015 and quickly became passionate about the sport, diving deep into its methodology, the athletes and the community. He holds a degree in Physical Education and Sports Science, along with a Master’s in Maximizing Athletic Performance. Currently, he’s a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer and works as a Head Coach at a UK affiliate.
Beyond coaching, he has taught personal training certifications at a fitness academy, building a strong foundation in education and leadership. As a judge, he has worked with elite CrossFit Games athletes at international events such as Wodapalooza and CrossFit Semifinals.
Now, Eleftherios is driven to combine his judging, coaching and teaching experience to help raise the standards of professionalism, fairness and integrity on the competition floor.
